These terms govern your use of The Tattoo Generator. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy.
Use only words and ideas you have the right to process. Our font tool creates lettering from font outlines; our cost calculator provides planning estimates, not artist quotes. Designs are generated with OpenAI GPT Image 2.5. AI images may contain mistakes and are design references to discuss with your artist, not final tattoos or healed results. Review every output before relying on it.
Provide accurate account information and protect access to your account. You retain your rights in content you submit and grant us the limited permission needed to process it for the service you request. Our website, branding and original software remain protected by intellectual property law. AI output may not be unique; we do not guarantee copyright protection, exclusivity or freedom from third-party rights.
Lettering exports and cost estimates are free. AI previews are display copies and do not include a commercial-download license. Paid credit packs and HD downloads are not yet available. The packages on our pricing page describe the planned paid service; the billing and refund terms below will apply when checkout opens.
Credit packs are one-time purchases in US dollars, with no subscription and no automatic renewal:
Purchased credits do not expire. One credit covers one new design generation or one HD download pack. A download pack includes a white-background PNG and, when available, a transparent PNG of the same design. We tell you before spending a credit if a transparent version is unavailable; a white-background pack still costs one credit.
If a generation or download delivery fails after a credit is deducted, that credit is restored. Restoring a credit is not a cash refund; purchase refunds are governed by the policy below.
Request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if the purchased credit pack is completely unused. A pack is used when any of its credits have been spent on a generation or download. Partially used packs are generally non-refundable, except where a service fault prevents delivery and we cannot restore the affected credits, or where your statutory rights require a refund. Nothing in this policy limits those statutory rights.
To request a refund, email support@thetattoogenerator.com from the email address used for your purchase. Include the order reference and the reason for your request. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on the payment provider. Refunded packs have their credits removed.
There is no recurring subscription to cancel. To cancel a credit-pack purchase, request a refund under the conditions above; stopping use of the service does not automatically refund a purchase.
Do not violate the content standards, interfere with another person's use, bypass access controls, scrape the service abusively, distribute harmful code or attempt unauthorized access. We may refuse requests, remove violating content or suspend access to protect users and comply with law.
The service is provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted access or suitability of a design for tattooing. Your artist must assess size, placement, technique and feasibility. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from use or unavailability of the service. These terms do not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
